Notes:
Due to our charter, IPIA is only allowed to offer training to students who are sponsored by their employer.
If the sponsoring employer offers inspection for hire, that is inspects pipe that they did not manufacture or do not own, the employer must be a member of IPIA to sponsor students.
Non-member pricing is available for manufacturers, threaders, and other parties who do not offer third party inspection for hire.
The course fee covers instruction, exams, and student handouts. Employers may need to provide students with reference documents, calculators, and in some cases, instruments to be used for inspection.
If training occurs away from IPIA's training facility in Houston, employer may be responsible for providing inspection samples and equipment as well as paying travel expenses in addition to the tuition costs.
