Why become a member?
1. Enroll students in IPIA classes at member rates. Note: for third party inspection companies, membership is required to enroll students. Non-member rates are only available for companies that do not perform third-party inspections. 2. Receive technical support from IPIA staff. We will attempt to offer assistance in resolving questions related to ASNT and API documents. We have membership on the committees that draft SNT-TC-1A and many of the API documents that pertaint to oil country tubular goods. 3. Assistance with Written Practices and Inspection Procedures. For a fee based on the time involved, IPIA can review documents you have prepared or help you prepare documents for the qualification of personnel or the performance of various inspections. 4. The reputation of IPIA. IPIA is known for providing quality training for inspectors. Being a member of IPIA tells your customers that you are committed to ensuring that your inspectors have quality training to provide the best possible inspeciton services.
How to become a member?
1. Complete the Membership Application from the PDF linked below 2. Submit the application along with a list of services that you provide 3. We will review your information and inform your acceptance and invoice you for the appropriate membership dues and initiation fee ($1000 US). 4. Upon payment of dues and initiation fee
Full Member Application
All Inspection companies should apply for full membership. The cost for Full membership is $2400/year and may be paid annually, semi-annually, quarterly, or monthly.
Associate Member Application
Associate Membership is available to Drilling Companies, manufacturers, and other entities with an interest who do not provide third party inspections. The cost for Associate Membership is $500/year and must be paid in full once per year.
